1981, Harry Tuffin Ltd. Expanded into the town of Knighton taking
over an old cinema. Two years later we moved to our current location,
taking over a petrol station and garage.
In
1987 due to the rapid expansion of the store and the shortage of
car parking we built the first and only multi storey car park in
Mid Wales.
During
2000/2001, the store had a major refurbishment, which included new
fixtures, fittings, fridges and freezers.
The
supermarket now has over 28,000 sq. feet of selling space and stocks
a huge range of groceries, non food lines, gardening lines as well
as a petrol station.
